About Mary
My name is Mary, and I am a 23 year old Federal Employee, residing in Buckhead Atlanta. I’m young, vibrant, and trying to take advantage of all the endless opportunities that are available to me, and thats why I am so EXCITED to be apart of the 2009 Subway Get Fit Challenge!!!!!! Weight has not always been an issue for me, and I would say my weight started spiraling out of control in high school. We all know how it is, you get comfortable, and certain foods become cravings, and cravings become habits, and next thing you know, you look in the mirror and don’t even recognize yourself anymore….and you’re like, “WOW…HOW DID I GET HERE????” I know this is going to be one of the most challenging journeys I have ever had to trail, but its definitely going to be worth the hard work…10,000%!!!!! Those that know me know that nothing has ever been given to me. I have had to work extra hard for ALL the blessings in my life…and this will be NO DIFFERENT!!! Although I am blessed and don’t take anything for granted, I just know there is a whole lot more in store for me….and so I hope you follow my journey through 2009 through this blog…my accomplishments, my falls, my joys, and my cries…AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN…and what’s the moment I am waiting for the most???? Being able to post BEFORE and AFTER pictures…oh…and fitting into MY SKINNY JEANS!!!!!!!!!!
